Slopes
and Attics
Sloped
ceilings can be filled much like wall cavities, by first
hanging and stitching a reinforced poly and blowing it in
similar to a wall cavity. Attics are loose blown at an R
value of 50 (can be more if desired) after hanging a regular
6mil poly onto a ceiling and stretching it tight with 5/16th
Duofast staples around the perimeter and along each stud
and strapping, if installed prior to hanging poly.

Sound
Proofing
Walls
and floors can be soundproofed with cellulose insulation
by first hanging a breathable fabric called webbing, then
packing it to a non- settling density. This provides superior
sound deadening and sound quality to a room or many rooms.
